Exterior features of the 2021 Wrangler 4xe

Aside from a few subtle differences-a blue 4xe badge, a charging port and gorgeous 20-inch wheels (optional)-the Jeep Wrangler 4xe looks a lot like the traditional gas or diesel-powered version.

However, the plug-in option that characterizes the 2021 Wrangler 4xe is only available on the Sahara and Rubicon versions.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe houses a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors and an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering a net output of 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

In addition, it has a total driving range of 640 kilometres and can travel approximately 40 kilometres in all-electric mode.

In terms of towing capacity, this Jeep hybrid will be able to tow up to 3,500 pounds.
